LOS ANGELES – June, 3rd 2011 – Codemasters® today announced that Operation Flashpoint®: Red River™, the all-new chapter in the multi-million selling tactical shooter series set to ship to North American stores on Tuesday June 7th for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and PC Games For Windows® LIVE.
Codemasters has today also detailed the first downloadable content for Operation Flashpoint: Red River. The Valley of Death Pack features eight new Fireteam Engagements playable in single-player or in four player online co-op and will be available at the end of June from Xbox Marketplace (560 MSP), Games For Windows Marketplace (560 MSP) and PLAYSTATION NETWORK ($6.99). Two new Combat Sweep missions, two new CSAR missions, two new Last Stand missions and two new Rolling Thunder missions are set across stunning new locales. Players will fight through the warehouses and factories of a former Soviet Manufacturing town and carry out operations in a riverside mud-brick village set beneath foreboding hilltop ruins.

To mark Operation Flashpoint: Red River’s launch into retail, Codemasters has today released a new video which shows how four men become one unit to stand together. Taking a tour of the wide range of tactical challenges which the US Marines will face in Tajikistan, the video shows the different specialists in Fireteam Bravo – Scout, Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman and Grenadier – combining in a theatre of war where one bullet can kill.
